ABOUT SEBRING
 

In Motor sports, SEBRING caused sensations in its early days.  It all started in the middle of the sixties with close connection between SEBRING and Jochen Rindt, the Formula 1 world champion of 1970.  This partnership served as the basis of a still on-going "technology transfer" with top class sports.
 

Well-known names such as the Austrian Grand Prix pilots Dr Helmut Marko, Karl Wendinger or Alexander Wurz became great together with SEBRING. SEBRING is still continuing this total dedication today.

In 2001 SEBRING was, among others, partner of the F1-Minardi Formula 1 team and its test pilot Andrea Piccini, who has already shown his talent in the Formula 3000. The SEBRING-duo Stefan Mucke and Markus Winkelhock put up a great performance in the worldwide strongest Formula 3 Championship in Germany.  With ten times on the pedestal and two wins, the 20-year old Mucke only slightly missed the "title" and became vice champion. The 21-year old Markus Winkelhock, son of Formula 1 pilot Manfred, won three times in his first season and was fifth in his class.

SEBRING has also been very active with young talents. Among others, Christian Paar won the Austrian Championship in Cart sports in his 125cc Kart.
