Late fashion designer Alexander McQueen has left £50,000 for the good care of his very own dogs as part of his will, it’s been revealed.
The 40 year old took his very own life in Feb . 2010 however the details of his will have only just been revealed. He was seriously worth £16 million, nearly all of which was left to charities, with his own housekeepers and also family members also being bequeathed cash.
£50,000 had been left within a trust for his own bull terriers to ensure that they make the most of the rest of their lives being spoiled with the finest dog supplies like luxury dog beds as well as dog toys.
McQueen was in fact known as an animal lover, and his very own will shows that with £100,000 left each to the Blue Cross along with the Battersea Dogs and Cats Home.
Spencer Wisdom, legacy manager in the animal home said: “Alexander was a devoted animal lover and a great supporter of Battersea, and we know he would be so proud to see his generous donation helping care for the thousands of dogs and cats at Battersea in need of a new home.”
